Testimonials
Our daughter Ruby was fortunate enough to play on the Phantoms U14 team in their inaugural year. At first, we were not sure what to expect by moving from the previous league we were in to the Female Super League. However, we made the move because we truly believed that the philosophy of the Phantoms organization aligned with our philosophy as parents. While our previous experiences with female hockey had been largely favourable, we were inspired by the Phantoms vision of positive growth and development for young women in the sport. We have zero regrets about making the shift to FSL, especially knowing that players and coaches are free to go back to other leagues should they wish, without any penalty. If you are looking to elevate your daughter’s hockey experience, in everything from development to teamwork to leadership skills, I would wholeheartedly recommend the Female Super League and the Phantoms.

I couldn't be happier with my daughter's experience on the Phantoms. This team has been nothing short of amazing, providing an inclusive environment where every player feels valued and supported. The focus on skill development and teamwork has been incredible, helping the girls grow both on and off the ice.
The coaches are dedicated and passionate, always encouraging the girls to push their limits and believe in themselves. It's been wonderful to see her confidence soar and her love for the game deepen. We highly recommend this league to any young female hockey player looking for a fantastic, supportive, and growth-oriented experience.
We are forever grateful for this opportunity!

Our daughter, Eden, played on the Phantoms U14 team for their inaugural season. We have always had a great experience in female hockey and hoped that would continue for Eden. As parents of a goalie, we were thrilled with the focus on development and one on one coaching. Our daughter has progressed, and improved, more than we could have imagined. Not only were we excited to see our own child’s development, but that of the other players as well. The coaches, manager and parents were fantastic mentors for the players. The girls had an outstanding year and the experiences, interactions and communications within our team were nothing less than positive. Eden always looks forward to seeing her teammates, as well as attending practices, outings and team building activities that make this team a true “Phamily”.

What is the FSL?
The Female Super League is an elite league exclusively for top-level female players. Teams in the FSL are from cities all over Western Canada. Organizations host showcases where league games are played. The season consists of 8, 4-game showcases. The 14U and 16U divisions offer progressive body-checking rules similar to the PWHL. The League is dedicated to providing players exposure through partnerships with broadcasters, TPE, and Elite Prospects.
How does the Phantom's Development Model compare to other programs?
The Phantoms are more than just a team. In our program, we include the extra training necessary to assist in the development of elite athletes. We partner with top-level on and off ice trainers to provide a quality program for player development. As we attend showcases for regular season games, the games will be less frequent and allow for individual development-focused training. We develop all of the players on our teams.
Where do my fees go?
The Phantom Organization is a non-profit. Your fees go toward the development of the players, providing more on and off ice instruction to maximize player potential. The FSL provides uniforms, gloves, helmets and insurance. Travel costs are not included. Fundraising options and sponsorships will be available.
What are the consequences of playing Non-Sanctioned Hockey?
You can not play Sanctioned and Non-Sanctioned Hockey at the same time. You can immediately switch back after the completion of the season. Any punishment from a Sanctioned organization for previously playing Non-Sanctioned hockey is in violation of Hockey Canada's Policy. Efforts have been made to remedy the misinterpretation of policy at local levels.
What age groups are offered?
We have teams that operate August-March in the 12U, 14U and 16U age groups. We are currently working to create a direct development path for future college athletes. We also offer fun skill camps for younger age groups (watch our site for more info).
